Thank you for your help in my worrying about when lambing would start. One of our black ewes Freckles lambed last night. We went out at 10:15 to shut in the birds and saw 2 little darling lambs. We moved Freckles and 2 lambs to a nice warm dry shed and along the way a 3rd was born dead. We had to move them in a rush because they were being bothered by another sheep. Freckles has plenty of milk/colostrum, so they're all doing so well. We tried everything to revive the 3rd one, but nothing helped. All 3 are ram lambs, the one that died was black with a white forehead and white tail. The 2 that survived are so cute, one is brown/golden and the other is cream colored with spots. So cute and tiny. I wish I had a camera so I could show them to you.
