My ram is with "his" ewes all the time. Yes, if there are ram lambs they get pushed around a little after 5 months or so, but by then they are of getting to butchering size.

I have had the together and separated, The only problem I have had is the
young rams will fight with the older one at about 3 months or later. Otherwise I
have had no problems. I am sure you will get other opinions..
