1. On the first day of every month, each of you receives an email from the Blackbelly listserv computer that provides the unique URL to the Web page you must use to change your subscription options and reminds you of your password. Always keep a copy of this message handy.
2. If your email address changes, you must unsubscribe the old email address and subscribe again using the new email address. You do this from the URL provided in the monthly reminder.
3. Please do not send messages to the 230+ members of this list regarding your personal subscription or about changes you may need to the Breeders Map. Send them to me personally at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
4. If you are receiving messages in digest form and you want to reply to a message, please delete ALL of the digest content except a couple of sentences from the message you are replying to. Also change the Subject line so that it reflects what you want to talk about rather than "[blackbelly] RE: Blackbelly digest, Vol 1 #586 - 2 msgs."
5. Turn OFF HTML-styled text when you post a message to the listserv. If you receive a message indicating that your post to the listserv contained a "suspicious header." To learn how to turn off HTML text in your email program, go to http://www.expita.com/nomime.html.
I can understand that folks new to the list will not know about this, and I give them a lot of latitude. However, those of you who have been on the list and STILL send emails containing HTML text should know better. Every time you post a message that contains HTML text, you cost me at least 5 minutes of my time because I must manually approve your message. So if you don't have time to turn off HTML, I may not have time to manually approve your post to the list. It is that simple.
