In southwest Missouri, we feed 35 BB sheep and two llamas a small bale of hay a day with a mixture of clover and prairie grass, along with a mixture of sheep pellets for nutrition and chopped corn. I would say each get about a cup full. We also have sheep/mineral blocks available, along with a salt block. If it gets really cold we increase the amount of hay. All is kept inside a large barn area. Ours are well fed but always ready to eat. Occasionally my wife will give them a few vanilla wafers, which they love. Plus if we they keep them away they will devour the corn we feed to the ducks and geese.
