Thank you all for your input. We have always changed feeding slowly and not
abruptly. We have had some die from overeating and have learned that lesson.
We did reitnroduce corn to them after that but it seemed that the sweet feed
is what really was the downfall and we have never given them any since. Too
scared to go through that again. I knew there was a shot but being that we
are trying VERY HARD to keep our animals NATURAL, we tend to stay away from
medications if possible. Especially ones that we intend to sell - seems
that here in this part of the Midwest, the all natural thing is taking
holdlike gang busters so that's where we are trying to get to. Ted and I
have talked about all that was said here and have decided to slowly cut back
for a while although we are supposedly in for a bigger freeze late this week
than we have had as of yet so will ration accordingly!
