What a TERRIFIC idea! I will call the butcher I use and see if he can do this. I know he does sausage and slim jims.

I was not happy with the way the butcher cut the last two sheep I took in (not that he has ever got my order 100% correct). I asked for stew, leg and shoulder steaks, and burger. The butcher did not cut the meat from the ribs and chops, so I have a dozen or more tiny packages of meat that, once I get it all unwrapped, I will have to crock-pot and debone afterward. What a pain.
