I agree, James. Also, if the BBSAI didn't register horned Barbados, how
many sheep would they have to register? From what I have read, the vast
majority of members have horned sheep. Does anyone know how many farms
are raising "polled only" BBs? In terms of percentage?

Rick, First of all you have BBSAI's name reversed. BBSAI is called the
Blackbelly Barbados Sheep Association International and I think you are
stating you would like for it to be called the Barbados Blackbelly Sheep
Association International.

Secondly, if you feel that strongly about this and other issue I would
recommend you to join so your opinions will count. The BBSAI
Officers/Board
listens to its members.

I personally disagree that BBSAI should not accept Barbado sheep.

James, I think we have had the name discussion before--just because the
BBSAI calls itself the "Barbados Blackbelly..." instead of the
"Blackbelly
Barbados..." should not give it the right to accept Barbado sheep. As
long
as BBSAI is doing that we will make no progress in helping people
understand

the differences between the two totally different breeds.
