I've been bottle feeding a Barbado lamb for almost a week now, and she seems to be happy. When I take her outside to play with the dog, she is not yet trying to eat any grass, but is licking the dirt. I wonder if this is because of a mineral deficiency in the "lamb-milk replacer" I've been using called Manna Pro, a product of Calf-Manna company. She started at 4 and 1/2 pounds and has gained almost 2 pounds in 6 days. I had the suggestion to add some regular goat's milk to the formula.
Anybody know?
