Like I said, I might be wrong. I'm not an expert on ovine reproduction, but maybe someone lurking on the list is and can chime in.
 
I think a ewe's tendency to have multiples is all up to her and doesn't have anything to do with the ram, but as Barb pointed out, she wants his offspring to be more genetically predisposed, so I certainly wouldn't hurt.
 
Where's Helmut? He's the expert.
