Devon, I know you are in AZ. A roll of barbed wire is $45 at Home Deopt. I belive it is for a 300 ft roll. You can buy 2x4 no climb fencing...the cheap stuff...for $70 for 100 ft. If you run 3 stands of barbed wire your sheep will get away, pretators will get in and it is down right dangerous for anything.
With 20 sheep, several goats, 8 dogs, 3 children and 24 horses, I use the no climb fencing exclusively. Not one strand of barbed wire here.
