In today's age of Internet shopping, hard-to-get items are only a UPS delivery away. I recommend keeping some Pritchard nipples on hand. Bottle babies rarely give any warning about their arrival, and I try to keep nipples, milk replacer, etc. in stock so that I can respond quickly to their needs.
You can order Pritchard nipples ($1.40 each) and milk replacer at Premier (http://www.premier1supplies.com/store/prod_search.html). The nipples fit on a plastic pop or water bottle.
