We are actually preparing a paper about photoperiod controlling reproduction in tropical breeds of small ruminants.
We used a Blac kBelly sheep flocks made from Barbados and Martinique (french West Indies) ewes and rams. We would greatly appreciate some referenced data about the origins of hair sheep from the caribbeans, (West African in all papers but generally without clear published references, neither from historical nor biological basis ).
