I didn't finish the yard....I found a snake.
A semi young garter type, it wasn't very long nor big around. He was by the Sycamore tree in my back yard. He was rearing his little snakey head... or I wouldn't have noticed him... his head was raised about 2-3 inches off the ground looking at me mow. I just froze. I couldn't mow back or forward for a few seconds. Then I found it very difficult to even finish that strip, as it meant going over the area where I saw him.
I've seen waaay more snakes this year than I ever want to see (4)... and it's only July!
There are now so many places that I have seen snakes that I am going to be uncomfortable being near... I can't stand it.
Do you think snake repellant works? I've seen that they sell such a thing. Maybe I should see if I can be hypnotized to get over the fear. It is getting impossible to live here worrying about seeing snakes every time I am outside.
Has anyone ever been hypotized to get over a fear or lose weight or anything? Does it work? or is it crap?
