I have been raising BB sheep for the last 2 1/2 years and I don't have to give any away. Our pricing is as follows $ 85.00 for lambs up to 4 months old . After that they sell for between $ 100.00 - 150.00 depending on size, sex & look. I will say that I don't take them to any of the local auctions, nor do I sell them at the weekly auction that I host at my own place. I tell people that if they want to buy my animals to come back during the week. I sell for my consignees on auction day. We had as many as 120 BB Sheep at one time, and have sods down to about 40 now, 3 big rams and the rest ewes. Next year we will be back up to 100+-, and should sell all we want to. I find that as long as I know that my animals are worth what I'm asking for them to me, then the buyers will come along.
