Jill stated: � This morning, about 9 am (PST) I got a call from a company calling themselves "Flagship Farms".� The representative I talked to is a "Joe Conners".� Phone number given:� 1 800 506 5172 (Medford OR) He says he got my phone number & address off a "postcard" mail in, of which I supposedly sent.� We did not, nor do we any longer send in postcards on any products, nor do we do the same for others!!!! He asked for Randy (red flag), and when I asked who/what, he elaborated -stating his manufacturing company makes an organic/non chemical oral worming drench to be used on sheep/goats, dogs as well.� The second "red flag" was the amount given to each animal - the same for each --2 ccs, whether it be a 10 lb lamb or a 300 lb ram.� The dosage was the same (?) per animal, not per their individual weight. The packaged product as advertised was/is a 120 cc bottle at the mere cost of $98.00 w/o S&H (priced specially - only at this time ---gee how exciting . . .).� Suspecting fraud, I told him I was a hard sell and wanted written info I could really study before acting/buying, of which he said he'd be thrilled to provide, but when pushed, he insisted I buy the product over the phone instead.� Major RED FLAGG -------- it all began to sound like a SCAM. The only way he could have gotten our name/number as listed (Randy & Jill Slawson) was from one of the three webpages of the sheep organizations I/we (you and I) belong to.� All breeders lists, lists both spouses names, address & phone number, which is probably why he asked for Randy as opposed to me (cause everyone knows they're my sheep).� And this is why I've decided to warn/inform/alert you -just in case this is a SCAM, and your name is next on the list. He also stated he has no webpage, which, had I asked for information, would've been the avenue I would have taken for said. Whether or not he will actually send me written information, I do not know.� Whatever be the case, I will let you know what I find out.
