Another consideration is when is the best time to sell the lambs - Easter and Christmas time - so you may want to time the breeding so the lambs are market age/size by those dates. If you have a market year round, then you won't have to worry about that; our best time is Easter and prices rise in the weeks preceeding Easter and fall sharply after.
