Hi,
I would be very careful about putting this young ram in with the older one.
The older one could very easily hurt, cripple or even kill the young one. I
had a ram killed by another one - literally cracked his skull! If the younger
one shows any aggressiveness and willingness to fight the older one, I would
separate them or go ahead and remove the older one as you are planning to do.. .
. . This is especially possible when one of your ewes comes in.

Although it is difficult, especially when you've gotten attached to a ram to
have to cull him, it is the right thing to do.

Good Luck!!

Question- Should I expect any problems with the older ram and this younger
one (about 4-5 months old) when we put him in with our flock?
