The Ewe Lamb Retention Program will be available for 2004. The information at ftp://ftp.fsa.usda.gov/public/notices/LD_547.pdf indicates that it is taking longer than expected to get the program approved, but there is no indication that the program will not be in operation for 2004. The gov has $18 million to spend on us and they will get around to it eventually.

Carol, I'm confused! I read the info on the gov. site and it was published in 2002 and says only up to 2003 will they pay for ewe lamb retention. Has it been extended for another year?My agent says it doesn't look like there is going to be one for 2003-2004. I'm just totally confused.
