hello to anyone considering participating in the trip!

I am leaving to go to Iowa tomorrow (Sunday) to pick up my new trailer -
I am going to be away from home about 10 days

I am targeting August 31st as the start date for the trip

that means I am going to have a VERY TIGHT SCHEDULE to get the trip
organized after I get home from Iowa - I will not be able to respond to
email when I am in Iowa - so I need your help!

if you send an inquiry to me while I am on the road please include as
much of the following info as possible in the FIRST email so we do not
have to go back and forth once I get back home

-------------------
The minimum information I need for DETAILED TRIP PLANNING is:

- pick up name, address, phones, email, and local directions
- drop off name, address, phones, email, and local directions
- animal species, age, size, number, temperament, special concerns
such as pregnancy, horn size, heavy coat, aggressive temperament,
need for separate pens, medications, allergies, etc.
- I have the right to refuse any animal based upon physical
appearance at pick up and prior positive lab test results
- by local directions I mean information I will need to travel
from a major highway to your ranch or farm
- include visual clues, street names, difficult/tricky turns,
  steep climbs, mileage, etc.
- Remember that I may arrive at night so visual clues must fall
within headlight range. Colors are impossible to see at night.
- please have LARGE numbers on your mailbox or entrance gate
- typically I need directions for the last 10-20 miles
- I am 50 feet long so I need appropriate turnaround room. Please
warn me in advance if there may be a problem making a turnaround.
- I need a minimum of 11 feet of ground clearance - please check
your drives for low branches and low hanging wire lines
--------------------

even if your transport is tentative please send as much info in the
first message as possible

you can view my pricing plan by joining the Travel group at

       http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TravelWithRonK

and looking in the 'files' section

the route is basically as follows:

TX CA WA MI TX SC VA OK TX WY WA CA TX

there is still lots of room to expand on this route - this will of
course be the first trip for my new state of the art small animal
transport trailer - I think you will be impressed when you see it - your
animals/small groups will ride in separate pens from other
animals/groups - this will reduce stress and limit contact with other
animals

I will do a last email check before hitting the road late Sunday
afternoon

thanks

ron
