John, there are thousands of inexpensive web hosting sites on the Internet. If I needed to create a site and didn't know anything about anything, I'd probably check out http://khimaira.com/. This company specializes in goat and sheep sites and I like the idea of giving my dollars to a fellow ruminant-lover. You will be impressed at their Web hosting service, and they include a design tool and five free pages as part of their $8/mo service. They have another site, their farm site, that is equally interesting at http://www.cometothefarm.com

If you would like to have someone design your site for you and give you a nice professional look, our own blackbelly listserv member Suzanne Sims at Three Dog Farm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (http://www.threedogfarm.com/) would probably be a great bet. She is always happy to send you links to some of the sites that she has designed, and because she earns her living as a professional Web designer, you can be sure she knows what she is doing.

If you do decide to go with either of these options, let us know how it goes. I'm sure there are lots of folks on this listserv that would be interested in hearing about your experience. The more blackbelly Web sites we get up on the Internet, the better the exposure is for our breeds.

For those of you with personal/business websites, any suggestions on how I
can get started building one (at little or no cost?)?
