We've been using pieces of "hog lot panels" for several years now to fill in under our woven wire fences where there are dry ditches just like you do. What works even better than wire to attach them to the bottom of a woven wire fence are hog rings. Just put several along the length of the panel to hold it firmly in place. It only takes a few seconds and you're done.
