Another thing that causes scours and can quickly kill one is Coccidiousis 
(sp?) - You use CORID to treat this infection (oral in their water).  Eating much 
richer grass/feed or more than usual can also cause scours.  If they last 
more than 24 hours I would either treat with antibiotics and corid and check for 
parasites (And if present, treat for that,too) or call a vet to check for the 
cause.
