Hi folks,
I have yet to savor my first taste of BBB lamb, and I have a question.
I know that the hair lamb meat is supposed to be much milder than
wool-breed lamb. Now, I know that wooliness is a breed fault, no doubt
indicating some outcrossing somewhere, and I am wondering if the amount
of wool that shows up on a lamb (even short, hairy wool) would indicate
that the meat may be stronger flavored than an all-hair lamb.

If that's true, it would most certainly be a powerful reason to abide by
that part of the breed standard and strictly cull sheep with a tendency
toward wooliness.

Also wondering if submissions are still being sought for the cookbook.

Much obliged,
Barb Lee
