Yes,  I take mine to the processor alive.  I have found no difference in the
meat from the butcher than the meat that is from animals killed in our yard.
We don't shoot them.  We cut the jugular and bleed them out.  I learned how
to kill them from a Mexican neighbor, but it follows the Kosher processes as
well.
