Many of you who are interested in raising sheep of all breeds will enjoy our upcoming Blackbelly Barbados Sheep Association International (BBSAI) Annnual Meeting and Workshop, to be held here at Bellwether Farm in Cobden, Illinois on September 11 and 12, 2004 (weekend after next!). We will have 2 days of informational workshops about raising sheep, plenty of good food, a silent auction, and a sheep exhibition and sale, as well as a wonderful banquet Saturday evening. Below is a flyer with details about the Annual Meeting. Please contact me or any of the other BBSAI officers (officers and directors names are available on the BBSAI website at www.blackbellysheep.org) if you would like more information. Also on the website, you will find an entry brochure for the Annual Meeting, which includes motel and lodging information. Don't miss this great opportunity to get together and learn about Barbado and Barbados Blackbelly hair sheep, get tips on successful stock management and marketing practices, meet other folks in the sheep business, and learn about the challenges and opportunities for sheep raising in the future. Hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Mary Swindell
