Hi everyone,

Just wanted to say thank you to Carol Elkins, Becky Lannon, and all the others who have worked so hard to produce the new Lamb Lover's Cookbook! Today I am going to order my cookbook from CafePress, and am eagerly looking forward to receiving it. And here's my neat idea: I'm going to order a couple of extras and have them available for my Bruce Fogt Herding Clinic which will take place at my farm on November 12 - 14th. There are going to be a lot of sheep people there, and I'll bet that when they see my cookbooks, they'll want to buy one of my extras or order one for themselves! After the Clinic, I will then give any leftover books as Christmas gifts, so either way, it's a win-win situation.

If any of you are planning to have an event (sheep event, herding event, etc.) in the near future, be sure to use it as an opportunity to promote the new Lamb Lover's Cookbook! And also consider giving these as holiday gifts to friends who either raise sheep (of any breed) or who love to cook. Help promote American Lamb, and particularly Blackbelly lamb, through giving your friends and family an opportunity to learn to cook and enjoy our delicious product!

As a sidelight, the lovely photographs and accompanying informational pages will help increase interest and enthusiasm for our Blackbelly breeds, for years to come. It is a wonderful and ingenious promotional effort that we as breeders can be truly proud of. Thanks again for your great efforts!
