[blackbelly] Opinion on fence charger?

Has anybody ever used a Red Snap'r fence charger?  I've been offered a LI30 
(low impedance, 30 mile) fence charger for $40, less than half the cost 
new.  I realize it's probably not as good as a Gallagher,
but if it's not junk I think that 30 miles (or even half that) should be 
more than I could possibly need, as I only have 5 acres.
