I don't know if it was the alignment of the stars or some other planetary phenomenon, but within 2 days I had inquires from 5 different individuals looking to purchase my BB lambs (no advertising was involved). Demand exceeded supply, and now 2 of the buyers now have flocks larger than mine !!!! I actually sold 2 of my registered Horned breeding ewes that did not have all the traits I was personally interested in perpetuating in my flock. One sale involved my first experience in obtaining a health certificate for interstate transport - on 30 minutes notice!
I'm now shopping for registered/registerable stock (primarily ewes) that have a Scrapie status of enrolled or higher. Horned or Polled - I'm an equal opportunity breeder. I'm in south Alabama and would prefer not to have to transport stock more than a good day drive (500-600 miles).
