If you cannot get any granulex, I use saline with strong Iodine mixed. Wash the wound out daily with this. Nitrofurazone ointment also works good. I prefer Iodine. I had a ewe with a leg bite from a Husky that was down to the bone.... I used the iodine every day for 6 weeks and 5 ccpenn erery other day for 3 weeks. Then gave up... I could not tell any difference in the wound after a week. It healed on its own. It developed a hard horn like material over the wound that stood out from the leg like a flap. after 2 years this flap fell off and it bled for a little while. after another 2 months you cannot tell where the leg injury was... Keep the flies off, ( winter will help) and it will heal up. My ewe had 3 lambs while all this happened....
