Hi Mary,

Glad the twins are stronger now. What is an average weight for BBS twins?
I have not weighed ours, but I'd say they don't weigh more than 4lbs a piece.
The ram is bigger and the ewe smaller, lighter weight. The ram by sight
looks like Cassie's single in size.

If the weather is better tomorrow, I'll see if I can get a weight on all of
the lambs.

I interfered, too. The little ewe twin needed to be dried (Frisky's
attention was mainly on the ram lamb and the ewe lamb appeared to be weakening)
and
both benefitted by being in the shelter to get out of the elements. I helped
them find the correct place to get milk. They probably would have got there on
their own, eventually, but I was ready to get out of the cold and wanted to be
sure they nursed before leaving. :-)

When I went back to check on them they were alert and active and checking out
their new world, the ram lamb even came to sniff me.

Diana
