To throw out a few more birth weights, and see how our weights compare with
Mary's, I just calcuated some averages from recent lambings in our flock:

November 2003 (A flock)
single: 7.6 lb (2 lambs)
twins: 6.3 lb (16 lambs)
triplets: 5.4 lb (6 lambs)

November 2003 (B flock, synchronized with MGA)
single: 8.3 lb (2 lambs)
twins: 6.8 lb (16 lambs)
triplets: 5.8 lb (12 lambs)

March 2004 (B flock, synchronized with MGA)
single: 7.3 lb (3 lambs)
twins: 5.9 lb (24 lambs)
triplets: 6.4 lb (3 lambs)

Our BB birth weights seem to be pretty much in line with those of Mary's flock,
but there are some seasonal variations in litter size and birth weights in our
flock.

Regards,
Stephan
