Wow! I must have myself some abnormal sheep. My tame ewe Sally will "come" on command, as well as "lay down" on command.I taught her using food rewards. (Must have way too much time on my hands).
I have no dog, so I taught Sally's son Willie to round up my two baby sheep at night. The girls all come running to the enclosed pen I put them in at sundown but the babies haven't figured out how to get in the pen without help. I tell Willie to "go get 'em" and he takes off like a pogo stick. He nose nudges them one at a time into the pen, and comes running over to me to get his reward.(food again). The only time he won't get them is if it's pouring rain.
I know it's not the words they understand, sheep will do almost anything for food. But it's pretty cool nonetheless.
