My Giant, a pepper and salt, has the herding instinct of a cat. She has the hunting instinct of a sheep. She has the cold-blooded killer instinct of a dust bunny! <VBG!> The pepper and salt Giant is thought to be crossed way back with the Irish Wolfhound, which explains their "rustic" appearance, their prodigious speed at the gallop, and their touchy-feely, clingy personality. Regardless, she's got big teeth and likes to play. She is never turned loose to run the neighborhood or the sheep paddocks, never allowed near the sheep, and is always under supervision/restraint. IOW, unlike the Schnauzer that killed those animals, mine is not on the loose.
Regards,
Barb
