what maintainers? xforms is dead upstream and has been for a really, really long time. It's like asking for a bug fix to Motif. As to the actual problem I have been unable to fully diagnose it because, like the Java bug that plagued us for months, it seems to be a case of doing the right thing but doing it slightly differently from others. Since I can not get the source to xforms I am stuck hacking blind just like I was with the Java issue. As always, I am more than happy to fix a bug. But we have to know what the problem is to fix it. Neither Brad nor I have much desire or time to fight bugs in closed source software. Hacking in braille is just no fun. If someone can provide us with a fix that would be great.
