You need to install RPM packages starting with XFree86-... and
XFree86-devel-... Not all of them, you can disregard packages with
cyrillic, KOI, jpfonts and such in them, and probably some others.
Your best bet would be to start with XFree86-4.2.1 and
XFree86-devel-4.2.1 and satisfy dependencies as they are requested.

It seems you are not very experienced with X Windows since you tried
to install Blackbox without XFree. Perhaps the following page will

In that documents' terminology, X is X and Blackbox is the window
