er.  no, no, you don't need kde libs for bbconf--it's straight Qt.  the
error I gave above is due to the fact that detecting Qt isn't a built-in
with auto*, so the script that bbconf uses to find it came from the kde
environment.  that's all.  

um.  it's still broke, I just wanted to clarify that you don't need kde.
