I'm sorry I didnt include these informations.

Other applications start from the ~/.xsession file (ie. xterm or gaim) at X
startup.
Once blackbox is loaded, I can start bbappconf from the command line.

Here is my .xsession file :

#
# xsets
#

xset -b

#
# wm
#

blackbox & wmpid=$!

#
# x apps
#

bbappconf &
xterm &

#
# wait for the wm to terminate
#

wait $wmpid

8<---

Note that I start blackbox before bbappconf.
