hi there, i noticed that the format of /proc/meminfo seems to have changed quite a bit in the upgrade to linux-2.6.0. it should be easy enough to fix though. i dont really have the time at the moment though, but if anyone wants to have a crack at it themselves just for fun, then here is a sample output of the new /proc/meminfo
$ cat /proc/meminfo MemTotal: 256948 kB MemFree: 4936 kB Buffers: 51612 kB Cached: 79944 kB SwapCached: 1160 kB Active: 158372 kB Inactive: 68260 kB HighTotal: 0 kB HighFree: 0 kB LowTotal: 256948 kB LowFree: 4936 kB SwapTotal: 554168 kB SwapFree: 546488 kB Dirty: 3180 kB Writeback: 0 kB Mapped: 135792 kB Slab: 12748 kB Committed_AS: 150128 kB PageTables: 972 kB VmallocTotal: 778204 kB VmallocUsed: 71216 kB VmallocChunk: 706824 kB i'm sure a quick hack could be implemented in the parsing of bbsload.cc around line 84. i was willing to hack on some of the bbtools, but due to time constraints and the new blackbox library coming out, i was going to wait till things got settled. i'd also prefer to work on a more cross-platfrom way to view system resources such as this. at the moment, i understand bbsload only works on a linux-2.4 kernel... but id like to work on getting it working on SunOS and FreeBSD. cheers, Sam
