Neither file is executed at all. My session gets started from GDM. I realise now that .xinitrc is only invoked using startx so I guess I should only focus on .xsession from now on. The problem is that when I run a GNOME/GTK+ program in Blackbox, it uses the ugly default GTK+ theme. If I start gnome-theme-manager and select a theme and then restart the program, it uses that theme and all is good. However, as soon as I logout and back in again it reverts to the default again. I was told that having gnome-settings-daemon running would store the theme settings across sessions. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
