Peter,
I had the same problem with RedHat 7.1. I downloaded the tarball instead
and it installed fine. Not as simple as the rpm, maybe, but the tarball
works well and probably as fast as the rpm.
BBweather will run with the earlier GCC, but not if installed via rpm. I
ran the nodeps flag with rpm, which installed BBweather, but then it
wouldn't run.
