I'm compelled to use NT 4 where I teach. I don't send much e-mail from there
and I for sure don't have any of these viruses. I have two e-mail accounts
and use the "personal" account for this list. I read e-mail on both the NT
and Linux boxes. I'm not a voluntary windows user in any case, and other
folks may be in the same kind of situation.
What I don't believe is why people will open unknown attachments. Depending
on the e-mail client, one could not open them on Linux boxes.
BTW, I use Opera as my browser on both NT and Linux and use the Opera mail
client on NT. Opera's mail client warned me there was something screwy with
the virus messages that came this morning.
But--"I laugh at your microsoft viruses; I use Linux <henh henh henh>"
