At best, this is poor logic. First, you appear to assume that the removal of key binding functions from a window manager is `development.' This is not necessarily so. Second, you also appear to assume that Fluxbox has poor key binding functionality. This is not the case. Fluxbox reads my existing bbkeys-0.8.3 ~/.bbkeysrc file and behaves in the same way. > This I completely agree with. I grew accustomed to this with UWM, VTWM and CTWM. All of these window managers, with possible exception of UWM, had enough functionality for my purposes. The warp bindings were especially useful. One major advantage of keeping the key binding code integrated is the following: 257 rbm49 2 0 2920K 1696K select 0:01 0.00% 0.00% fluxbox This compares favourably with: 5610 rbm49 2 0 2784K 1824K select 0:00 0.00% 0.00% blackbox 5624 rbm49 2 0 2420K 1452K select 0:00 0.00% 0.00% bbkeys On large multi-user systems this remains as much of an issue as it ever was. \end{flame} Many regards, Richard Mahoney PS.
