I love blackbox and would love to use it but it still has a couple of problems (on my pc): -if i mswitch xawtv to fullscreen (xawtv just switches the res to 512x384) x will crash (reset to the login) or xawtv will just not show. -x will sometimes reset when switching xine to fullscreen -3d games will sometimes not work right, like the display will be big blocks of colors instead of the menu of the game.
I'm not sure if those are blackbox issues or related at all but I NEVER have any of these problems when in ximian gnome. Gnome is just so much more stable on my system. blackbox specific: -The only thing that drives me nuts is the way windows are handled. I have to click on the titlebar or bottom border to bring a window to front. Is there not a way to set it to raise a window if any part of it it clicked on? -i just wish there was a stick/unstick button on the titlebar but that is probably a programming thing to change. Those are the main issues i have with bb, there are other things like loading things on bb startup and specifying a slit location but those are easy to find out by looking around. I'm also sorry if the above questions seem simple but I can not find ANY documentation besides the man file and an FAQ online. The doc links on bb's main site just link to themes.org with a sign saying come back soon. Is there any other place these docs are located?
