I intend to make a few more 0.61.x releases.  After that a 1.0 will most likely
occur.  Personally I think it is silly, not every piece of software needs a 1.0
release.  Knuth started at 3.1 and moved towards pi.

I seriously doubt calling it 1.0 will make people use it any more or less than
now.  Knowing that someone is still involved and releasing versions is more
likely to help this.
