This will occur on any box with a loacle other than C. The problem is
that then blackbox uses fontsets, and these fonts don't fill the entire
fontset. The remainder of the fontset is filled with "fixed" and so the
fonts are all bigger. There are a few workarounds listed in this list's
archives.
