Maybe once they get running.  Initial startup is horrid on my PII 400.  I can
swap workspaces, look at something and swap back before it even tries to load
the first window.  That is just the DemoApp.java I was given to test the weird
window size problem which is all of 20 lines.  KDE apps start faster ......
