Chris, I've done playing with this now. I did manage to get the script to work without a time by adding an 'else' statement at the end of the first 'if' block in getdate, setting thetimetext to "". It seems to have worked OK. To get this working with Quicksilver I assume that I set it up as you had originally? What's the best way of running it without Quicksilver?
