Show Contents of Shelf works well for me; Quicksilver doesn't need to
be open, and rather than just opening the shelf it opens the
Quicksilver window with the shelf in the first pane so you can perform
actions on what you select from the shelf. Getting triggers to stick
is a little tricky. I generally use some combination of letting it sit
and then relaunching Quicksilver.
