Something else I was going to mention about this and forgot: Since you’ve been 
testing with multiple versions, make sure you only keep the one you’re 
currently using on your system. Having multiple copies present is known to 
screw up “get current selection” behavior.

For copies you’re not using, either delete them, zip them, or keep them on a 
disk image that’s unmounted most of the time.
