I don’t know if anyone else cares, but I asked about turning AirPort on and off via Quicksilver in 10.6 a couple of months ago and didn’t get an answer. (It used to be possible through the Airport module, but that crashes under 10.6.)
Here’s one possible answer: http://github.com/andrewheiss/AirPort-Toggle I actually like this better than what the AirPort module did because you don’t have to be specific about on/off. Just run it and it does the right thing.
